The Fringe pattern is a woven dress and blouse with two views. View A has a button up front, elbow sleeve and sleeve tab. View B has a pull over, notched front with a cuff. Both views include two cup sizes, optional waist ties, and the sleeve/cuffs are interchangeable.
Designed by Chalk and Notch, the independent pattern company founded by Gabriela. The printed pattern comes in an envelope with a tissue pattern and a printed instruction booklet; the envelope back carries the flat drawings, fabric and notions list and size chart. Chalk and Notch drafts for a height of 5'7" (170 cm).
📏 Sizing
Sizes 0–30, with A/B and C/D bust cups, all included in the envelope
High bust: 30–54 in (76–137 cm)
Waist: 25–49 in (63.5–124.5 cm)
Hips: 35–59 in (89–150 cm)
Full bust: 32–58 in (81–147 cm) across both cups
Choose your size by high and full bust; if you fall between sizes, size down. A difference of up to 2" (5 cm) between high and full bust uses the A/B cup, 2–4" (5–10 cm) the C/D cup. Ease is 3" (7.5 cm) at the full bust. The blouse ends at the hips and the dress below the knee. Full size chart in the photos.

Light to medium weight wovens with a nice drape: rayon challis, rayon crepe, rayon voile, cotton lawn, cotton voile, cotton shirting, linen or double gauze.
44" (112 cm) wide: blouse 2–3 yd (1.8–2.7 m); dress 2¾–4 yd (2.5–3.7 m).
54" (137 cm) wide: blouse 1½–2¼ yd (1.4–2.1 m); dress 2–3¼ yd (1.8–3 m), depending on size.
🔘 Notions
½ yd (0.4 m) tricot fusible interfacing; five ½" (12.7 mm) buttons for View A. Optional: a safety pin or turning tool. Seam allowances are included: ⅜" (1 cm) body seams and a ⅝" (1.6 cm) hem.
