Lady McElroy
Lady McElroy is a British textile house designing printed dressmaking fabrics. Our Lady McElroy collection focuses on lightweight lawns: 100% cotton Marlie Care lawn and viscose lawn, both chosen for fine, detailed prints and a soft drape.
Cotton lawn is a fine, smooth, breathable weave that presses crisply and holds clean seams, which makes it a good match for blouses, shirts, dresses and skirts. Viscose lawn is lighter in feel and more fluid, for garments that need movement. Some viscose lawns use LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose; each listing states the composition, weight, width and origin.
The prints we carry are limited runs — florals, animal motifs and painterly abstracts — and are not reprinted once sold out. All fabric is sold by the half yard and cut as one continuous length.

What is the difference between cotton lawn and viscose lawn?
Cotton lawn is crisp, breathable and presses to a sharp edge; viscose lawn is softer and more fluid. Choose cotton for structured details like collars, and viscose for flowing shapes.
