✈️ Pre-order — expected 9 October. This fabric is on its way to us from France. Order now to reserve your yardage; we cut and ship pre-orders in the order they were placed, as soon as it lands.

Designed by independent studio Atelier 27, this ECOVERO viscose Moroccan crepe carries the Inaya print — poppy-coral, cream, ochre and yellow blooms packed edge to edge with sage-green foliage across a deep chocolate ground. Atelier 27 describe the palette as the colors of a Provençal market stall, and that is exactly how it reads: warm, spiced, and gently sun-faded.

Moroccan crepe has a fine, sandy grain that catches the light without shine, and at 120 g/m² it falls in soft, weighted folds rather than clinging. ECOVERO viscose is cool against the skin and breathes well, which makes this a fabric for garments with movement — gathers, volume, a skirt that swings. It presses crisply and gathers beautifully.

This is a Limited Edition design — produced in a single small run and never reprinted once sold out. When this fabric is gone, it is gone for good.

Best uses: blouses, shirts, dresses, gathered skirts, and wide-leg trousers.

🪡 Sewing Tips

Pre-wash before cutting — Atelier 27 state that viscose shrinks around 5% on the first wash, so this step is not optional if you want your finished garment to fit. Use a fine universal or microtex needle (70/10–80/12) and a shorter stitch length. Moroccan crepe is fluid and will shift under the shears, so cut single-layer with pattern weights and a rotary cutter where you can, and staystitch necklines and armholes before handling them. The print is dense and reads as non-directional, so you can lay pieces either way and save yardage.

🧺 Care Instructions

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, inside out. Always pre-wash before cutting.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order ship?

This is a pre-order. The fabric is expected to reach us by 9 October, and we cut and ship pre-orders in the order they were placed as soon as it arrives. If you order other items at the same time, the whole order ships together once the fabric is here — place a separate order if you need the rest sooner.

What can I sew with this fabric?

Blouses, shirts, dresses, gathered skirts and wide-leg trousers. The drape rewards volume — anything with gathers, tiers or a full sleeve will move well in it.

How much fabric do I need?

Fabric is sold by the half yard, cut in one continuous piece. A fitted top typically takes 2–3 half-yard units, a blouse or shirt 3–4, a skirt 3–4, and a midi dress 5–6 — order 4 units for 2 continuous yards. At 125 cm this is one of our narrower crepes, so check your pattern's yardage against that width.

Will it shrink?

Yes — about 5%. Atelier 27 state that viscose typically shrinks around 5% on the first wash, which is enough to change a fit noticeably. Pre-wash before cutting so your fabric is already in the state it will be worn in.

Is it see-through?

No — this crepe is opaque; unlined garments are fine.

What needle and thread should I use?

A fine universal or microtex needle (70/10–80/12) with all-purpose polyester thread, and a slightly shorter stitch length; test on a scrap first.

Is it really limited edition?

Yes — Atelier 27 prints each design in a single small run and never reprints it. When our fabric sells out, this print is gone for good. We stock it here in the US, so there are no import shipping, tariff, or customs processing fees.
