Leo is a Limited Edition jacquard fabric made from a blend of polyester, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and metallic fibres. Designed by independent Atelier 27, it features the Leo pattern in black and brown with gold metallic thread woven through the surface. The jacquard construction creates a textured, dimensional surface, and the fabric has a structured body with no elasticity, allowing it to hold shape cleanly — making it ideal for jackets, skirts, dresses, shorts, trousers, and accessories. This print is produced in a single small run in France and will not be reprinted once sold out.

How much fabric do I need for a dress or blouse?

Fabric is sold by the half yard, cut in one continuous piece. A structured skirt typically takes 3–4 half-yard units, a jacket or occasion dress 5–7 — order units together for one continuous cut.

Will it shrink?

Minimal, but the recycled-cotton content makes pre-washing before cutting a must. Wash cold, inside out.

Is it see-through?

No — at 200 g/m² it is opaque; unlined garments are fine.

What needle and thread should I use?

A universal needle (80/12–90/14) with all-purpose polyester thread; test on a scrap — the metallic threads reward a slightly longer stitch.

Is it really limited edition?

Yes — Atelier 27 prints each design in a single small run in France and never reprints it. When our bolt sells out, this print is gone for good. We stock it here in the US, so there is no import shipping or customs from France.
