Sewing Tips for Jersey Knit

Use a ballpoint or stretch needle (size 75/11 or 80/12) to avoid snagging the knit loops. A narrow zigzag, stretch stitch, or serger/overlocker works best for seams. A coverstitch or twin needle gives professional hems. Pre-wash before cutting — cotton jersey can shrink on first wash.

Care Instructions

Machine wash 30°C, gentle cycle, inside out. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Iron on medium heat on reverse. Pre-wash before cutting.
