Fabric is sold by the half yard, cut in one continuous piece. A fitted top typically takes 2–3 half-yard units, a blouse or shirt 3–4, and a midi dress 5–6 — order 4 units for 2 continuous yards. Because the floral motif is oversized, consider ordering an extra unit to allow for pattern placement.

Will it shrink?

A little — as a natural cellulosic fiber, cotton can shrink slightly (typically a few percent) on first wash. We recommend pre-washing before cutting so your fabric is already in the state it'll be worn in.

Is it see-through?

No — at 90 g/m² this poplin is opaque; unlined garments are fine.

What needle and thread should I use?

A sharp/universal needle (70/10) with all-purpose polyester thread and a short 2–2.2mm stitch length; test on a scrap first.
