ECOVERO Viscose Moroccan Crepe Fabric – Felicità Print Limited Edition | Atelier 27

$16.95 USD

Feminine, painterly, and full of warmth. The Felicità print from Atelier Vingt-Sept is an ECOVERO™ viscose Moroccan crepe with a lush, artisanal floral design — the kind of print that looks hand-painted, with the rich, layered color combinations of a summer garden in full bloom. Felicità means "happiness" in Italian, and this fabric earns the name completely.

Moroccan crepe is one of the most beautifully draping viscose constructions available — fluid, soft, with a subtle crinkled texture that adds depth without weight. It skims the body rather than clinging to it, making it supremely flattering for a wide range of silhouettes. The ECOVERO™ certification means this fabric is produced from sustainably sourced wood pulp using a responsible closed-loop process — beautiful fabric you can feel good about choosing.

About Atelier Vingt-Sept

Atelier 27 (Atelier Vingt-Sept) is an independent French fabric house releasing exclusive limited-edition prints in small quantities. Every print is designed in France and produced using responsible manufacturing practices. The Felicità print is part of their curated Summer collection — a warm, joyful design that reflects Atelier 27's signature aesthetic: prints with personality, quality you can feel, limited editions you won't find anywhere else.

What Can You Make?

Fluid, feminine garments in any silhouette: midi and maxi dresses, wrap dresses, gathered skirts, voluminous blouses, relaxed shirts. The Moroccan crepe construction drapes beautifully in both fitted and loose styles. The Felicità print works particularly well in flowing designs where the fabric can move freely and show off its gorgeous drape.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I sew with this fabric?

Midi and maxi dresses, wrap dresses, gathered skirts, voluminous blouses, and relaxed shirts — fluid, feminine garments where the Moroccan crepe's drape can move freely and show off its gorgeous flow.

How much fabric do I need for a dress or blouse?

Fabric is sold by the half yard, cut in one continuous piece. A fitted top typically takes 2–3 half-yard units, a blouse or shirt 3–4, and a midi dress 5–6 — order 4 units for 2 continuous yards.

Will it shrink?

Yes, viscose can shrink up to about 5% on first wash — it's a cellulosic fiber that absorbs water and relaxes. Pre-wash before cutting.

Is it see-through?

No — at approximately 120 g/m² this Moroccan crepe is opaque; unlined garments are fine.

What needle and thread should I use?

A sharp/universal needle (70/10–80/12) with all-purpose polyester thread; test on a scrap first.

Is it really limited edition?

Yes — Atelier 27 prints each design in a single small run in France and never reprints it. When our bolt sells out, this print is gone for good. We stock it here in the US, so there are no import shipping, tariff, or customs processing fees.
