Designed by independent studio Atelier 27, this knit fabric features the Larissa print in a multicolor palette of ivory, olive, caramel, and pink. The knit base provides stretch and fluid movement well suited for garment sewing.

Carefully produced with attention to fiber content and finish, this midweight knit has a smooth surface with comfortable elasticity, holding its shape well while remaining flexible and comfortable to wear.

This is a Limited Edition design — produced in a single small run in France and never reprinted once sold out. When this bolt is gone, it is gone for good.

Use a stretch or ballpoint needle (size 75/11 or 80/12) and handle the fabric gently while cutting to maintain shape. Test stitches on a scrap before sewing. Prewash before cutting to allow for any shrinkage and to relax the knit.

What can I sew with this fabric?

How much fabric do I need for a dress or blouse?

Fabric is sold by the half yard, cut in one continuous piece. A fitted top typically takes 2–3 half-yard units, a blouse or shirt 3–4, and a midi dress 5–6 — order 4 units for 2 continuous yards.

Will it shrink?

A little — even though polyester and elastane fibers themselves are dimensionally stable, the knit loop structure can settle and tighten up on first wash, independent of the fiber. That's usually a modest 2–5%, but it's why we recommend pre-washing before cutting — that way your fabric is already in the state it'll be worn in, and your finished garment keeps the fit you're expecting.

Is it see-through?

No — at 190 g/m² it is opaque; unlined garments are fine.

What needle and thread should I use?

A stretch or ballpoint needle (75/11–80/12) with all-purpose polyester thread. Use a narrow zigzag or stretch stitch, and test on a scrap first.
