Saguaro Set – Printed Pattern | Friday Pattern Company

The Saguaro Set is a two piece woven set made up of elastic waistband pants and a pullover top. This is the perfect outfit for road trips through the desert, sunset walks on the beach, or dancing the night away. The pants feature roomy pockets and a waistband with a drawstring. The top has a plunging V neckline that includes an optional tie closure. You can wear the top backwards or forwards. This flowy set is easy to sew and fun to wear with endless options for customization.

Designed by Friday Pattern Company, the independent pattern label Chelsea started in 2017. Every Friday pattern goes through a testing process, includes seam allowances, and is drafted for a B cup and a height of 5'6" (168 cm). Friday Pattern Company donates 5% of proceeds to charity. Both the top and pants patterns are in the envelope.

🪡 Fabric

Light to mid-weight wovens: linen, rayon challis, Tencel twill, chambray, double gauze and silk all work for both pieces. Lawn and voile also suit the top, and slightly heavier cotton twill the pants.
Top: 1.25–1.6 yd (1.1–1.5 m) of 54–60" fabric. Pants: 2.25–2.8 yd (2–2.6 m) of 54–60" fabric, depending on size.

2–3 yd of 2" (5 cm) wide elastic; a 3 × 4" (8 × 11 cm) scrap of fusible interfacing; a safety pin; matching thread.
