The brand designs and releases exclusive limited-edition fabric collections in small batches — printed in France, Italy, and Portugal using responsible, quality-first production methods. Every Atelier 27 print is created in France and released in intentionally limited quantities: when a colourway is gone, it's gone for good.

They produce exclusive printed fabrics across wovens, knits, and viscose crepes, plus a curated range of French-made buttons and notions. Fabrics are designed in France and printed in France, Italy, or Portugal. All button production takes place in the Lyon region of France.
Fabrics
The Atelier 27 fabric collection spans every sewing project and skill level. Woven fabrics include fine 100% cotton poplins (Pia, Poppy, Louise — OEKO-TEX 100 certified), structured jacquards (Poem, Augustin, Leo), cotton satin (Flora), and seersucker (Maritza). Viscose crepes include fluid Moroccan crepes (Lili, Felicità, Norine) — including ECOVERO™-certified sustainable options. Knit fabrics include the Pepita (GOTS-certified organic cotton textured knit, knitted in Portugal), Louison (100% cotton mini-rib jersey), and a range of printed knits. All fabrics are sold by the half metre as one continuous length.
Sustainable & Certified Fabrics
Several fabrics in this collection carry third-party sustainability certification. Cotton poplins are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. ECOVERO™-labelled viscose crepes are produced from sustainably sourced wood using a closed-loop process that significantly reduces water and energy use compared to conventional viscose. The Pepita organic cotton knit is GOTS certified — the Global Organic Textile Standard, the most rigorous organic textile certification available. Atelier 27's buttons are also OEKO-TEX certified and produced in France.

Atelier 27's button collection is sourced from a manufacturer in the Lyon region and finished entirely in France. Options include statement gold shank buttons (Petit Amour 11mm, Grand Amour 22mm, Le Sublime 18mm hammered), a delicate gold floral option (La Chicorée 12mm), gold & enamel shank buttons (L'Adorable in gold & ivory and gold & black, 8mm), and a genuine mother-of-pearl button (Ivory Pearlescent 10mm, naturally biodegradable).
